    1. Day 1 Vancouver

      On arrival, transfer from Vancouver International Airport to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Vancouver hotel.

    2. Day 2 Vancouver City Tour with Capilano Suspension Bridge Tour

      After breakfast, proceed on Vancouver City Tour with Capilano Suspension Bridge Tour. See spectacular waterfront landmarks including Canada Place, Robson Street for shopping, English Bay, Stanley Park, Granville Island, Chinatown and Gastown. Later crossing Lions Gate Bridge, look-out for British Property's exclusive homes and proceed to visit Capilano Salmon Hatchery continue to the Capilano Suspension Bridge, a suspension bridge crossing the Capilano River. Other attractions at Capilano include a heart-stopping Cliffwalk and Treetops Adventure. Overnight in Vancouver hotel. Later in the afternoon, visit FlyOver Canada, a 4D show experiencing a gentle ride. Chairlift-style seats are elevated before a large spherical screen creating an illusion of flying over the landscapes. Overnight in Vancouver hotel.

    3. Day 3 Vancouver - Whitehorse

      After breakfast, check-out, transfer to Vancouver Airport to connect to Whitehorse. Upon arrival at the Whitehorse airport you will be greeted by a local representative of Northern Tales Travel Services who will welcome you to the Yukon and transfer you to your hotel. Once you have checked in, you will receive an orientation meeting describing what to expect during your stay. The rest of the day is yours until your first evening viewing of the Aurora Borealis. The Aurora Borealis, commonly known as the Northern Lights, is a spectacle of magnetic and electrical charges in the air, coloring the sky a multitude of majestic hues. Tonight is your first chance to view this spectacular show. Departing the hotel at 2200 Hours in groups, you will be taken to a prime viewing area and treated to snacks and hot drinks during your viewing. Contemplate the sublime beauty of this fascinating array of blues, reds, greens and violets in this idyllic setting as you relax in a cozy heated cabin or walled tent. Return to the hotel at approximately 0230 Hours. You will have another opportunity for viewing tomorrow evening. Overnight in Whitehorse hotel. ***Please note, passengers arriving later than 2030 Hours should take the complimentary airport shuttle bus to the hotel. They will miss the first night of Aurora Viewing.

    4. Day 4 Whitehorse

      On the morning of day 4 you are treated to a tour of the scenic city of Whitehorse, a former gold rush settlement set against a stunning backdrop of mountains. Discover the highlights of this town such as Main Street, the Train Depot of White Pass, Log Skyscraper, and Log Church, the Sternwheeler SS Klondike, fish ladders and Schwatka Lake. Each day you are free to relax in the warm comfort of the hotel, or book an optional activity such as dogsledding, ice fishing, flightseeing or snowshoeing. You will have an opportunity to view the Aurora Borealis every evening of your stay. While waiting for the lights to appear, guests are invited to sit at a roaring bonfire, roast marshmallows, have tea and hot chocolate, chat with local guides, try out snow shoeing, tobogganing on a small hill.

    5. Day 5 Yukon Wildlife Preserve

      Today, you will visit the Yukon Wildlife Preserve** (admission included), where you’ll have the opportunity to view and photograph wildlife in its natural habitat. Dall sheep, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, mule deer, wapiti (elk), woodland caribou, wood bison, musk-ox, moose and even lynx can all seen on this tour, usually up close! To cap off a great day, you will also travel to the nearby Takhini Hot Springs** (admission included). The outdoor hot springs pool provides a warm sanctuary amid the cold weather and is a must-do activity while visiting Whitehorse! Overnights in Whitehorse. **Visit to the Yukon Wildlife Preserve and Takhini Hot Springs is included for arrivals Oct 1 - Nov 30 and Jan 1-31 only.

    6. Day 6 Whitehorse

      Today your northern experience comes to an end as you check out of your hotel and are transferred to the Whitehorse Airport.

    All the attractions are subject to weather conditions. Most of the attractions are closed on Dec 25, Dec 26 & Jan 01.

      • Seat-in-coach Sightseeing do not necessarily offer complimentary pick up and drop off from hotels. However, most of the hotels has complementary pick-ups.
      • Mandatory fee like resort fee/gratuity/tips has to be paid at the hotel directly, the same is not a part of the package and cannot be pre-paid.
      • Transfers to & from “FlyOver Canada, Vancouver” attraction, needs to be managed locally on own. Operational timings are from 1000 Hours to 2100 Hours.
      • Above rates are not valid for travel dates from 22nd December 2017 to 7th January 2018. Premium rates (as per availability) will be applicable for travel between these dates.

     

    • Vancouver-Whitehorse-Vancouver flight is not the part of the package. Passengers will have to book it on own. Kindly book for flights arriving into Whitehorse before evening.

    The Northern Lights are actually the result of collisions between gaseous particles in the Earth's atmosphere with charged particles released from the sun's atmosphere. Variations in colour are due to the type of gas particles that are colliding.
